Travel Occupational Therapist in Plentywood, MT

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide therapy care in a hospital in Plentywood, Montana on an 8-week contract. The role supports both inpatient and outpatient services in a busy therapy department serving a critical access setting.

• Evaluate and treat patients needing occupational therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Develop individualized care plans to improve function and independence
• Use activity-based interventions to support recovery from orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions
• Document patient progress and therapy outcomes in the chart
• Coordinate care with physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and medical providers
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, self-care, and safe activity techniques

• Montana Occupational Therapist license upon acceptance
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Occupational therapy clinical skills in inpatient and outpatient care
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
