Travel NICU RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill newborns in a Level IV NICU in Denver, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit has 42 beds, uses Meditech and Neonatal Notes Manager, and works with 1:1 and 2:1 ratios. The team manages advanced ventilation, line care, and complex care pathways with daily learning during rounds.

• Monitor vital signs, cardiorespiratory status, and ventilator support for critically ill neonates
• Administer continuous, intermittent, and oral medications as ordered
• Assist with intubation, central line care, PIV access, Foley care, and chest tube management
• Support therapeutic hypothermia, lab draws, sepsis screening, and gastric tube placement
• Collaborate with the neonatal team during rounds and care planning
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the charting system

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 1 year of current Level IV NICU experience
• Neonatal assessment, ventilator, and medication administration skills

• PICU experience
• Post-surgical neonatal care experience
