Travel NICU RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care in a level IV neonatal intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit uses Meditech and Neonatal Notes Manager and cares for critically ill newborns needing advanced respiratory and intensive monitoring support. The team offers high-acuity learning and exposure to advanced procedures.

• Monitor critically ill newborns and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support IV, PO, and titrated therapies
• Assist with intubation, central line placement, and other advanced NICU procedures
• Support therapeutic hypothermia, respiratory care, and continuous monitoring
• Perform assessments, document care, and communicate updates during rounds
• Collect labs and support sepsis screening, gastric tube placement, and routine newborn care

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• Minimum 1-year current Level IV NICU experience
• Neonatal intensive care skills, high-acuity monitoring, and neonatal medication administration

• PICU experience
• Post-surgical neonatal care experience
