Travel NICU RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill newborns in a hospital neonatal intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit has 24 licensed spots, uses Meditech, and supports Level III neonatal care with 1:1 to 4:1 ratios.

• Provide direct care for critically ill newborns
• Monitor infant status and respond to changes in acuity
• Assist with intubations, chest tubes, circs, and pneumo taps
• Administer medications, blood products, and enteral feeds
• Perform peripheral IV starts and arterial, heel, and venous blood draws
• Attend high-risk deliveries and communicate updates with the care team
• Document care in Meditech and support central lines and respiratory equipment

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU Registered Nurse experience
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience

• Prior Meditech experience
• PICU experience
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
