Travel Neuro ICU RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for neurologic patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The 16-bed unit cares for high-acuity patients with typical ratios of 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1, and uses Meditech for charting. Advanced support includes ventilators, EVDs, CRRT and SLED.

• Provide neuro ICU care for critically ill patients
• Monitor neurologic status, hemodynamics and respiratory needs
• Support care for ventilated patients and those receiving CRRT or SLED
• Assist with central line, arterial line, lumbar puncture, chest tube and EVD procedures
• Document assessments and interventions in the charting system
• Collaborate with nursing support staff and the care team
• Deliver attentive, compassionate communication to patients and families

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• ICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
