Travel MRI Tech in Edmonds, WA

A Travel MRI Technologist will provide MRI imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Edmonds, Washington. The unit serves adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, and ER patients with overlapping technologist coverage. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform MRI examinations of the brain, spine, joints, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and angiographic studies
• Position patients, explain procedures, and maintain MRI safety throughout the exam
• Prepare and administer contrast media according to protocol
• Use surface coils and protocol-driven sequences to obtain diagnostic images
• Process and review images with MIP and MRP techniques
• Support adult and pediatric patients during MRI exams and isolation precautions

• ARRT MR certification
• BLS certification
• Washington state license with MRI designation
• 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Adult acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and pediatric acute care MRI experience
• MRI studies, contrast administration, surface coil use, and image post-processing experience

• Breast MRI experience
• Cardiac MRI, MR angiography, and MR venography experience
• Management or lead experience
• Starting peripheral IVs
