Travel MRI Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel MRI Tech Radiologic Technologist will scan patients in an acute care hospital in Anchorage, Alaska for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Cerner, sees level II trauma and ER cases, and averages about 10 scans per tech. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare patients for MRI exams
• Start IV access for contrast studies
• Perform MRI scans of the head, neck, spine, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal system
• Assist with MRA and MRV imaging
• Support ER and level II trauma imaging needs
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during scans

• 2 years of MRI scanning experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (MR) certification
• IV start proficiency
• Experience with GE scanners
• Proficiency with MRI exams of the head, neck, spine, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, musculoskeletal system, MRA, and MRV
