Travel MRI Tech in Columbia, SC

A Travel MRI Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform inpatient and outpatient MRI scanning in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves mostly pediatric patients, with adults, neonates, stroke and trauma cases also included, and uses GE and Siemens MRI equipment.

• Perform MRI exams for patients across age groups
• Position patients and support safe scan preparation
• Start peripheral IVs and prepare contrast for ordered studies
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment and follow imaging protocols
• Capture and process images using PACS and reconstruction tools
• Assist with pediatric, stroke and trauma scans in a high-volume unit

• ARRT MR certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of MRI experience
• Pediatric MRI experience
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI equipment

• Chest, cine and diffusion MRI experience
• Image post-processing and spectroscopy experience
• NICU/PICU or trauma hospital experience
• Charting system experience
