Travel MRI Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel MRI Technologist will provide imaging support in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner, has about 9 staff, and performs MRI contrast and noncontrast scans in a magnet-designated setting.

• Prepare patients for MRI exams and explain the process
• Position patients and operate MRI equipment for quality images
• Perform MRI contrast and noncontrast imaging as ordered
• Monitor image quality and repeat scans when needed
• Screen for MRI safety and verify exam details
• Document procedures in Cerner and communicate with the care team
• Support efficient workflow in a busy imaging unit

• Current MRI registration
• Strong MRI patient positioning and safety skills
