Travel MRI Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging in an imaging unit in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Cerner for charting and supports contrast and non-contrast studies.

• Perform MRI scans with and without contrast
• Screen patients and verify MRI safety before imaging
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain quality images
• Monitor patients during studies and respond to their needs
• Document exams and related details in Cerner
• Collaborate with radiology staff to complete ordered studies
• Maintain room readiness and follow unit procedures

• Current MRI registry
• Strong patient screening and positioning skills
• Experience with magnetic resonance imaging procedures
