A Travel Hematology Oncology Medical Assistant will support patients in a hematology oncology unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Burlington, Massachusetts. The setting focuses on oncology care in a hospital unit.

• Support patients during rooming, intake, and vital sign collection
• Prepare patients for examinations and clinical visits
• Assist nurses and providers with procedures and treatments
• Collect, label, and process specimens as directed
• Document care activities and patient information in the medical record
• Reinforce instructions and coordinate patient flow within the unit

• BLS certification
