About this job

A Travel Medical Assistant Medical Assistant will support endocrine care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Milton, Massachusetts. The role supports outpatient ambulatory endocrinology and diabetic care with Epic charting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients and collect vital signs
  • Assist with finger sticks and glucose monitoring
  • Support medication reconciliation and medication history review
  • Prepare patients for endocrinology visits and provider exams
  • Document care and updates in Epic
  • Coordinate outpatient ambulatory follow-up tasks

Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant certification
  • BLS
  • Epic experience
  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Outpatient ambulatory experience
  • Trauma hospital experience

Preferred Skills

  • Endocrinology and diabetic care experience
  • Finger stick experience
  • Medication reconciliation experience
