Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Zanesville, OH

A Travel Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Zanesville, Ohio. The unit is a Level 3 trauma setting and requires Epic charting proficiency.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Provide direct nursing care for telemetry and medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Epic
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 3 years of current or recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience
• Epic electronic medical record proficiency
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation competency
