Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit has 28 beds, an average daily census of 28, typical ratios of 1:4, uses Epic, and commonly sees sepsis, pneumonia, cellulitis, and ETOH withdrawal. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
• Monitor telemetry and note rhythm changes
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary services
• Assist with mobility using ceiling lift equipment
• Support patients with sepsis, pneumonia, and withdrawal needs

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience
• Experience with 5-patient assignments
• Charting system experience
