Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Newburyport, MA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital in Newburyport, Massachusetts on an 8-week contract. The assignment supports adult med surg and telemetry patients with ratios of 5:1 to 6:1 on med surg and 4:1 to 5:1 on telemetry.

• Assess and monitor med surg and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Track cardiac rhythm changes and report clinical concerns
• Coordinate care with providers and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
• Initiate and update individualized care plans

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS
• 2+ years of Med Surg Registered Nurse experience
• Telemetry interpretation skills
