Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital telemetry unit on a 26-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The unit serves adolescents through geriatrics, has 36 beds, follows a 1:4 ratio, uses Allscripts, and cares for chronic ventilator patients.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm changes
• Provide care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
• Support ventilator, tracheostomy, and oxygen therapy
• Perform central line, PICC, IV, and blood product care
• Assist with chest tubes, rapid response, and cardiac recovery

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• EPIC experience
• Relias EKG test and onsite EKG competency
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Accessing and managing ports
• ABG interpretation
• Neuro stepdown experience
• Allscripts charting experience
