Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Lancaster, SC

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lancaster, South Carolina. The unit serves a varied med-surg population and uses Epic. The setting supports respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy and rapid response services.

• Assess adult and geriatric med-surg patients
• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in Epic
• Respond to changes in condition and assist with urgent interventions

• Active South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license before start
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
• 2 years of med-surg Registered Nurse experience
• Prior travel Registered Nurse experience

• Telemetry rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
