Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Boston, MA

A Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult medical surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neurology, cardiac, bariatric, oncology, transplant, vascular, and general medicine patients, with ratios around 4:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Administer medications, infusions, and nebulized treatments as ordered
• Assist with 12 lead EKGs and blood transfusions
• Provide care for neurologic, cardiac, bariatric, oncology, transplant, vascular, and surgical patients
• Assess, plan, and document patient care using Epic
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy and the care team for complex needs

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 3+ years of related registered nurse experience
• Prior travel registered nurse experience
• Epic experience
• Basic computer and web-based application skills

• Teaching hospital experience
• Medical surgical or telemetry specialty expertise
