Travel Med Surg RN in Zanesville, OH

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a medical-surgical unit in Zanesville, Ohio for a 13-week contract. The assignment supports a comprehensive medical unit in a Level III trauma acute care hospital with Epic EMR and a mix of stroke, oncology, cardiac, observation, and ED boarder patients.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Deliver bedside nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Assess patients and coordinate care with the team
• Administer medications and IV therapies per order
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Document care in Epic
• Respond to changes in patient condition

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 3 years of current or recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience
• Ability to read telemetry
• Current Epic EMR proficiency
