Travel Med Surg RN in Zanesville, OH

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care on a renal medical-surgical unit at a hospital in Zanesville, Ohio on a 13-week contract. The 21-bed unit serves adult patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, telemetry monitoring, and Epic charting in a Level 3 trauma setting.

• Provide direct nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor telemetry and report changes in patient condition
• Assess kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and other medical-surgical complications
• Coordinate care with nephrology and interdisciplinary teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Epic
• Support safe admission, transfer, and discharge workflows

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience
• Epic EMR proficiency
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

• Renal nursing experience
