Travel Med Surg RN in Waycross, GA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for general medical surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Waycross, Georgia. The unit has 24 beds, a 1:6 ratio, and uses Meditech Expanse.

• Assess and monitor medical surgical patients
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the chart
• Support bedside shift report and safety rounding
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• One or more years of consecutive medical surgical experience
