Travel Med Surg RN in Waycross, GA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for general medical surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13 week contract in Waycross, Georgia. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech Expanse and typical ratios are 1:6. Bedside shift report and safety rounding are part of the workflow.

• Provide direct care for general medical surgical patients
• Assess patient status and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Document care and patient progress in the charting system
• Support bedside shift report and safety rounding
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate daily plans

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1+ years of medical surgical nursing experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
