Travel Med Surg RN in Waycross, GA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for general med-surg patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Waycross, Georgia. The unit has 24 beds, typical 1:6 staffing, and uses Meditech Expanse.

• Monitor patient status and report changes
• Administer medications and support routine nursing care
• Document care accurately in the charting system
• Complete bedside shift report and safety rounding
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Support patient education and discharge planning

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1+ year of general medical-surgical experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, documentation, and teamwork skills
