Travel Med Surg RN in Thomasville, GA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct care on an oncology unit in a hospital setting for a 13-week contract in Thomasville, Georgia. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Ratios are 1:6 to 1:7, and charting is done in Cerner.

• Assess and monitor medical surgical patients across age groups
• Manage telemetry monitoring and report changes in condition
• Start IVs and support ordered treatments
• Administer medications and coordinate daily care
• Document patient care in Cerner and communicate with the care team

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years recent Medical Surgical experience
• Experience with 1:6 to 1:7 patient assignments
• Telemetry monitoring and IV start skills

• Oncology experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Cerner charting system experience
