Travel Med Surg RN in Smyrna, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will care for medical-surgical, orthopedic, and spine patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Smyrna, Tennessee. The unit uses Meditech and supports telemetry, wound care, and other common inpatient monitoring equipment.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and psych medical hold patients
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Support post-procedure recovery for chest tubes, NG tubes, feeding tubes, and wound care
• Collaborate with RN/LPN teams, PCTs, and unit secretaries
• Prioritize care, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns
• Document care accurately and give clear shift handoffs

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical Registered Nurse experience

• ACLS certification
