Travel Med Surg RN in Hermitage, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct care on a medical-surgical hospital unit in Hermitage, Tennessee during a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech, supports 3 techs per shift, and works with 6:1 and 7:1 patient ratios.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and supportive treatments
• Manage feeding pumps and other bedside equipment
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff
• Document care accurately in the chart
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Strong medical-surgical assessment, IV therapy, and medication administration skills
