Travel Med Surg RN in Camden, SC

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Camden, South Carolina. The unit uses Epic and serves general med surg and COVID needs with a 1:6 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome, and free parking is available.

• Assess adult and geriatric medical surgical patients
• Administer medications, fluids, and blood products
• Start and maintain IV access
• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Manage ports, feeding tubes, and ostomy care
• Support isolation precautions and rapid response needs
• Assist with respiratory support and dysrhythmia management

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license or compact license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
• 2+ years of Med Surg Registered Nurse experience
• IV starts, telemetry, dysrhythmia, and general med surg care skills

• Cardiac drip management
• Central line blood draws
• Wound care and wound vac
• ABG interpretation and high flow nasal cannula
