Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Issaquah, WA

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will provide postpartum and couplet care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Issaquah, Washington. The 16-bed unit supports vaginal and cesarean deliveries, low-risk antepartum care, GYN surgery, and transition nursery needs, with Epic charting.

• Provide postpartum care for vaginal and cesarean birth patients
• Monitor newborns for thermoregulation, glucose, and phototherapy needs
• Administer blood products and ordered therapies such as heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Manage epidural, PCA, syringe pump, and wound vac therapy
• Assess fundus, lochia, perineum, incision sites, and bladder function
• Teach families breastfeeding, newborn care, and discharge instructions

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• 2 years of postpartum nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
