Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Issaquah, WA

A Travel Mother-Baby Registered Nurse will provide post-partum and couplet care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Issaquah, Washington. The 16-bed unit serves vaginal and cesarean deliveries, low-risk antepartum patients, and newborns; Epic charting is used.

• Provide care for post-partum, couplet care, and low-risk antepartum patients
• Assess mothers after vaginal delivery, cesarean section, and OB-GYN surgery
• Administer blood products, heparin, insulin, magnesium sulfate, and pain control therapies
• Manage drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac therapy
• Support newborn assessment, thermoregulation, glucose management, and phototherapy
• Reinforce breastfeeding, discharge teaching, and infant identification
• Document assessments and care in Epic

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of postpartum, mother-baby, or couplet care nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
