Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Mother Baby Registered Nurse will provide postpartum and newborn care in a hospital mother baby unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 34 private couplet rooms, 1:3-4 couplet ratios, Cerner charting, and Magnet designation.

• Provide postpartum and newborn assessments for couplet care
• Monitor mothers and babies after delivery, including magnesium sulfate therapy
• Administer medications and support newborn care within unit practice
• Assist with circumcisions and related newborn procedures
• Educate families on recovery, infant care, and discharge needs
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• Mother Baby nursing experience

• Travel nursing experience
• STABLE certification
• Experience caring for patients receiving magnesium sulfate after delivery
