Travel Mammography Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel Mammography Technologist will perform screening, diagnostic, and stereotactic breast imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses Epic charting.

• Perform screening, diagnostic, and 3-D mammography exams
• Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures
• Prepare patients and explain imaging steps
• Maintain radiation safety and PPE practices
• Document studies and patient information in Epic
• Support adult and geriatric breast imaging workflows

• California state license
• BLS
• 1 year mammography experience
• 3-D, diagnostic, digital, and screening mammography experience
• Stereotactic biopsy experience
• Radiation safety, isolation precautions, PPE, and universal precautions/core measures
• Outpatient and lead experience
• Prior travel experience

• ARRT Mammography certification
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification
• Hologic 3D, PACS, Synapse, and Epic charting system experience
• Fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and breast self exam teaching
