Travel Mammography Tech in Craig, CO

A Travel Mammography Technologist will provide mammography imaging care and support diagnostic interpretation in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Craig, Colorado. The role supports the women's health section of radiology with quality review, patient education, and structured reporting. Work includes routine equipment operation, record keeping, and radiation safety standards.

• Perform mammography exams for diagnostic review
• Verify orders, identify patients, and provide exam education
• Review histories, obtain consent, and organize prior studies
• Maintain QA records, accreditation files, and audit tracking
• Follow radiation safety standards and imaging protocols
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service support
• Stock supplies and assist with clerical or cross-training tasks

• Accredited Radiologic Technologist program graduate
• ARRT registration in Radiology and Mammography
• Current Basic Life Support certification, or within 90 days of hire or transfer
• Active Colorado radiologic technologist license
• 2 years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist

• Experience in CT and MRI
• Cross-training in DEXA
• Electronic records experience with PACS and RIS/HIS
