A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for mothers and newborns in a hospital labor and delivery unit during a 13-week contract in Westerville, Ohio. The role supports labor assessment, fetal monitoring, delivery recovery, and family-centered bedside care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor labor progress and fetal status
  • Provide bedside care during admission, labor, delivery, and recovery
  • Assist with obstetric procedures and newborn stabilization
  • Administer medications and support safe patient care
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
  • Communicate with physicians, midwives, and the care team

Qualifications

  • Ohio Registered Nurse license
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
  • Labor and delivery nursing skills
