Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients in an acute care hospital on an 18-week contract in Torrance, California. The unit handles high-volume births, low- and high-risk pregnancies, and uses Epic charting in a 22-bed setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess labor patients and monitor maternal and fetal status
• Assist with vaginal births, cesarean births, and recovery care
• Support antepartum and postpartum patients with education and routine care
• Apply internal monitoring and perform nonstress testing
• Manage hemorrhage response, blood products, and rapid infuser support
• Document care in Epic and coordinate newborn care at delivery

• California Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced certification, with C-EFM accepted in lieu
• 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Obstetrical triage experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Circumcision support and postoperative site assessment
• Dysrhythmia interpretation, IV conscious sedation, and nitrous oxide use
