Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on an 8-week contract in Seattle, Washington. This 31-bed unit uses Epic and sees high-risk, high-volume deliveries with newborn care, fetal monitoring, and a 1:2 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Circulate for cesarean births and other deliveries
• Provide newborn care and initial assessments after birth
• Assist with high-risk vaginal deliveries and obstetric emergencies
• Support maternal recovery, pain management, and breastfeeding
• Use external fetal monitoring and other unit procedures
• Collaborate with the care team to manage complex labor cases

• Active Registered Nurse license in Washington
• BLS and NRP
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience with high-risk obstetrics
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with cesarean birth circulation, newborn assessment, and fetal monitoring

• ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Antepartum and mother/baby experience
• Obstetric triage and IV start skills
