Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for mothers and newborns in a high-risk, high-volume acute care hospital in Seattle, Washington on a 26-week contract. The unit has 31 rooms, uses Epic, and supports electronic fetal monitoring and newborn transition in a fast-paced setting; first-time travelers are accepted.

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care for mothers and newborns
• Circulate for cesarean births and other obstetric procedures
• Monitor fetal status and assist with electronic fetal monitoring
• Support newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and immediate post-delivery care
• Administer obstetric medications and infusions as ordered
• Document assessments and care in Epic
• Collaborate with the care team on high-risk deliveries

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 1 year labor and delivery experience
• High-risk labor and delivery experience
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Epic charting experience

• ACLS certification
• AWHONN Advanced certification
• AWHONN Intermediate certification
• Antepartum or mother/baby experience
