Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support high-risk labor and delivery care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit serves midwifery clients, private obstetric patients, and recovery support patients in a high-risk, high-volume setting with Epic charting and electronic fetal monitoring. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide labor and delivery care for high-risk and routine births
• Circulate for cesarean deliveries and support operative birth procedures
• Assess newborns after delivery and continue care until transfer
• Monitor fetal tracings and respond to maternal and fetal changes
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, multiple births, and newborn stabilization
• Administer obstetric medications and therapies, including magnesium sulfate and oxytocin
• Document care in Epic and maintain accurate clinical records

• Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications
• One year of labor and delivery experience
• High-risk labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting system experience

• ACLS and AWHONN Advanced
• Antepartum and mother/baby experience
• Obstetrical triage, nitrous oxide, and IV start skills
