Travel Labor and Delivery RN in San Jose, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for laboring patients in a hospital unit during a 13-week contract in San Jose, California. The unit has 10 beds and uses Meditech and CPN for charting. Deliveries and cesarean sections are part of the case mix.

• Assess maternal and fetal status
• Assist with deliveries and cesarean sections
• Monitor contractions and recovery
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Prepare patients for labor and birth
• Collaborate with the care team

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Maternal and fetal assessment skills
