Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Salt Lake City, UT

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for laboring, antepartum, triage, and immediate postpartum patients in a fast-paced acute care hospital unit on a 12-week contract in Salt Lake City, Utah. Epic is used, and patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and recovery
• Assist with induction, augmentation, and vaginal deliveries
• Circulate cesarean sections and support obstetric procedures
• Respond to high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies
• Provide postpartum recovery and newborn stabilization care
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and NICU teams

• Utah Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care hospital setting
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring certifications
• Epic EMR experience
• Strong fetal monitoring interpretation and obstetric emergency management skills

• Operative vaginal delivery support
• Antepartum care experience
• External cephalic version and cerclage experience
• NICU or newborn stabilization experience, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, preeclampsia, shoulder dystocia, and postpartum hemorrhage management
