Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for obstetric patients in an acute care hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on an 8-week contract. The unit handles deliveries at 32 weeks and above, with six rooms, an average daily census of 6, and 1:2 ratios.

• Assess obstetric patients in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Monitor maternal and fetal status with external fetal monitoring
• Triage obstetrical patients and prioritize care
• Assist with circulating during cesarean delivery
• Support deliveries and stabilize newborns as needed
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Collaborate with the care team to respond to changes in patient condition

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and S.T.A.B.L.E.
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• 2 completed travel assignments
• Labor and delivery, LDRP, and mother and baby experience
• Triage of obstetrical patients, external fetal monitoring, and circulating for cesarean delivery experience
