Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The 6-bed unit serves deliveries at 32 weeks and above, with about 6 patients a day and two or three nurses plus a scrub tech. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide direct care for laboring, delivery, postpartum, and obstetric triage patients
• Monitor maternal assessments and external fetal heart tracings
• Assist with cesarean births and other obstetric procedures
• Support newborn stabilization and immediate post-delivery care
• Collaborate with the scrub tech and interdisciplinary support teams
• Educate patients and families on labor, birth, and recovery care

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, STABLE, and CPI or MAB
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience with postpartum experience
• Experience with obstetric triage, external fetal monitoring, and cesarean circulation
• 2 successful travel assignments
• Comfort working with incarcerated obstetric patients
