Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for low and high risk labor and delivery patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The unit includes triage, labor rooms, operating room support, NICU, and postpartum care and uses Allscripts charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess labor and delivery patients in triage and the unit
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond to changes
• Circulate during cesarean births
• Provide care for low and high risk obstetric patients
• Coordinate with OB, anesthesia, and support teams
• Support newborn stabilization and postpartum care

• California Registered Nurse license
• Three years of labor and delivery experience
• AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting experience

• Allscripts charting system experience
