A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Glendale, California.

• Assess mothers and newborns throughout labor and recovery
• Plan and deliver nursing care using established standards
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Administer medications and ordered treatments safely
• Coordinate care with providers and other disciplines
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff members
• Document care, responses and patient education

• California Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Nursing process, critical thinking and independent judgment skills
• Supervisory and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
