Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Fullerton, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fullerton, California. The unit uses Epic, manages about 6 to 8 deliveries per day, and staffs at 2:1. Patients include labor, induction, preeclampsia, VBAC, multiples, and preterm labor.

• Assess obstetrical patients in labor and high-risk antepartum
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and support fetal monitoring
• Assist with vaginal delivery, cesarean delivery, and recovery care
• Administer labor, postpartum, and newborn therapies
• Support newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and breastfeeding education
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, and NRP
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Independent sterile vaginal exam and obstetrical triage experience
• Epic charting experience
