Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Farmington, CT

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide high-risk labor and delivery care in an acute care hospital OB/GYN unit on a 14-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The unit includes postpartum, antepartum, labor, triage, and operating rooms, with Epic charting and 1:3 labor and antepartum ratios.

• Assess high-risk labor, antepartum, postpartum, and triage patients
• Monitor fetal status and maternal condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Assist with cesarean delivery care and operating room support
• Coordinate care with obstetric, anesthesia, and neonatal teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
• Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum, and newborn care

• Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 5 years of labor and delivery high-risk experience
• Prior obstetric nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification
• Fetal monitoring certification, including AWHONN
• Basic dysrhythmia interpretation/EKG competency
