Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Eureka, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit serves a high-risk OB, culturally diverse population, uses Epic, and has 11 rooms, 15 beds, and an average daily census of 20. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor
• Assist with vaginal births, cesarean recovery, and cesarean circulation
• Support high-risk obstetric patients and newborn care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Perform assessments, teaching, and discharge education
• Document care in Epic

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP
• 1 year Labor and Delivery experience
• Epic charting experience
• Labor and delivery clinical skills with fetal monitoring, newborn assessment, and cesarean support

• High-risk antepartum care
• Obstetrical triage
• Forceps and vacuum delivery support
• Hemorrhage and shock management
