Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Edmonds, WA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric and newborn care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Edmonds, Washington. The unit serves labor and delivery, post partum, OB triage, antepartum, and normal newborn patients, uses Epic, and supports LDRP and couplet care with a 1:1-3 staffing ratio.

• Support labor, delivery, post partum, antepartum, OB triage, and newborn care
• Assess patients and monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Circulate for cesarean delivery and assist with vaginal births
• Start and maintain IV access and manage blood products
• Administer ordered therapies such as insulin, magnesium sulfate, and anticoagulation
• Perform sterile vaginal exams, triage, and pain management
• Provide couplet care and recover post cesarean patients

• Active Washington Registered Nurse license or compact license
• AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and NRP
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, and newborn care experience
• Epic experience
• Obstetric triage, fetal monitoring, IV start, and cesarean circulation skills

• ACLS
