Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Moses Lake, WA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care management and bedside nursing support in an acute care hospital family birthing unit on a 13-week contract in Moses Lake, Washington. The role supports labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care with electronic documentation and close collaboration across the birthing team.

• Assess maternal and newborn status
• Implement individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Teach patients and families about birth and newborn care
• Document care accurately in electronic and paper records
• Delegate tasks and support charge nurse duties as needed

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• BLS within 30 days of hire
• AAP NRP prior to end of orientation
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 3 months of completing L&D training or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring equivalency

• Acute care registered nurse experience
• One year of specialty nursing experience
• RN-C in specialty
• STABLE course completion
