Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Devils Lake, ND

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The role supports laboring patients, postpartum care, newborn care, patient education, and discharge planning.

• Assess labor, postpartum, and newborn patients and update care plans
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate changes in condition
• Provide patient education, counseling, and discharge preparation
• Monitor pain, comfort, and safety, and respond to urgent changes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Delegate appropriate nursing tasks within scope and competency

• North Dakota Registered Nurse license or compact license, upon acceptance
• Basic Life Support certification, prior to start date
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification, prior to start date
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, prior to start date
• STABLE certification, prior to start date
