Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Aurora, CO

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Aurora, Colorado. The unit has 13 beds, uses CPN and Meditech, and serves mostly 1:1 patients in a small but busy setting.

• Assess and triage obstetric patients
• Support labor management and delivery care
• Monitor recovery after vaginal and cesarean births
• Circulate for cesarean sections
• Manage inductions with Cervidil, Cytotec, and Pitocin
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, nurses, and surgical technologists

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care L&D experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Ability to circulate for cesarean sections
• Core obstetric assessment and fetal monitoring skills

• Meditech experience
• Strong OB triage skills
